Teah Banks is a Tampa native and recent graduate of The University of South Florida with Bachelors in Theater Arts and in English Creative Writing. She joined the Theater department at USF as a fun way to fulfill her extracurricular classes and fell in love with the Theater instead. While at USF, she performed in the USF Student Theater Production of The Pillowman, the Student Theater Masked Production of Romeo & Juliet, and worked backstage for USF’s productions of A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Violet. After graduating, she joined the Jobsite team as an intern under the mentorship of Matthew Ray for A Skull in Connemara. She had a great experience with the wonderful director, actors, designers, and stage manager. They all helped her learn about the professional theater in a fun, friendly, welcoming environment which she was excited and thankful to be a part of. The experience cemented that the Theater life was definitely for her and she hopes to continue to work in the Tampa theater community.
