Giles Davies

Giles has been a company member with Cincinnati Shakespeare Festival for 14 seasons, traveling back and forth from there to the Tampa Bay area. Favorite roles with Cinci Shakes include The Elephant ManMuch Ado About NothingDracula, and a solo Frankenstein, The Modern Prometheus. He was seen in The Gorilla Theatre production of The Lion in Winter, where he also performed one of his solo shows, Charles Dickens: The Uncommercial Traveler for the Theatre Ybor (HCC), A Midsummer Night’s Dream with freefall Theatre, and Death & the Maiden with A Simple Theatre. With Jobsite he has previously been seen in Cloud Nine, Twelfth Night, The Hound of the Baskervilles, Macbeth, Fahrenheit 451, Quills, and in his one-person show POE. He enjoys teaching and traveling, and was an adjunct professor at The University of Cincinnati, College Conservatory of Music and Drama. Other favorites include Coriolanus, Macbeth, Richard III, Iago in Othello, Caliban in The Tempest, Vladimir in Waiting for Godot, Trofimov in The Cherry Orchard, and Lady Bracknel in The Importance of Being Earnest.
