Roxanne Fay is an actor, writer, director, and producing artistic director of Circle In The Water, LLC. Since 2011, she has created several theatrical events to highlight the artists and works exhibited at the Dali Museum, St. Petersburg, which presented her newest work on the surrealist designer Elsa Schiaparelli in November, 2017.
Roxanne was awarded the 2017 Creative Pinellas Individual Artist Fellowship for her work as a theatrical creator. In 2016, Roxanne was awarded the Hawthornden Writers’ Fellowship and spent a month as playwright in residence at Hawthornden Castle in Scotland, which was completely awesome. She will join The Growlery in San Francisco as artist in residence in 2018. Her plays have been produced in the Tampa Bay area, in Chicago, at the United Solo Festival in NYC, and in upstate New York.
Acting roles include Beatrice in The Effect Of Gamma Rays On Man-In-The-Moon Marigolds, Touchstone in As You Like It, Feste in Twelfth Night, Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, Dr. Emma Brookner in The Normal Heart, Ruth in Collected Stories, both Juliet’s Nurse and Friar Lawrence in Romeo and Juliet, and Nurse Ratched in One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest.
