Colleen Cherry [she/her] is an Artistic Associate with Jobsite, previously seen as the title roles in Lizzie, Columbia in Rocky Horror, Sally Perks in Puffs, Bandersnatch/Queen of Hearts and lyricist for Alice, Ortenzia in Gorey Stories, Betty in The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, Puppet Master in Shockheaded Peter, Street Singer in Threepenny Opera (recipient of Theatre Tampa Bay Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical), and Miggs/Lamb in Silence! Favorite regional credits include It’s A Wonderful Life (American Stage); Exhibits in the Zoo (ThinkTank) My Fair Lady (Asolo Rep); Blithe Spirit (Stageworks); Grease (Show Palace); multiple shows with The Radio Theater Project at Studio@620, and directing It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play with Tampa Rep.

A vocalist with The Florida Bjorkestra, she has previously appeared in Life on Venus: The Florida Bjorkestra Plays Bowie and as everyone’s favorite vampire slayer in BuffyFest. As the songwriting coach for Girls Rock St. Pete, she helps young musicians find their voices and tell their stories. Colleen is also one half of Best of the Bay Award-winning cabaret duo Coco & Homo, as well as the producer of immersive theatrical experiences SEXxX Dreams and Much Ado. Currently, she is writing and recording an album with her indie pop band, The Sugar Bats. By day she is the Program Coordinator of Outreach – Community Partnerships and staff advisor to the Musical Theatre Club at USF St. Petersburg. Through her songwriting business, she writes and records custom songs inspired by other people’s pets and love stories. Much love to her Jobsite fam, her actual fam, her pup Daisy, and her husband Marc. Colleen dedicates her performance in Penelope to the memory of her beloved Ella.
