Jobsite Theater, the award-winning independent resident theater company of the Straz Center for the Performing Arts, is currently looking for individuals who love live theater and who believe in the arts as a powerful cultural, economic, and educational force. We are in immediate need of board members who believe in our mission and who want to help us continue to grow.
We seek board members to serve a term of at least a year who can contribute to one or more of these areas: fundraising, audience development, marketing and public relations, short and/or long term strategic planning, accounting, legal counsel, and/or further board development. If you are reading this and have a sincere interest in helping but are not sure where you might be able to contribute please reach out, we would love to have a conversation with you. Currently the board meets once monthly for an hour to discuss business.
Jobsite Theater is dedicated to the creation and production of politically and socially relevant theater and to performing it to the broadest possible audience. Through all genres of live performance Jobsite hopes to not only provide an artistic home where artists of all disciplines may come together in a professional theatrical laboratory but also to inspire their community to be citizens and not just consumers.
