Alex Martinez is delighted to be making his Tampa debut with Jobsite Theater. Originally from New York, Martinez is a rising actor/director in the South Florida theatre scene. Martinez earned his degree in dramatic arts in 2020, and since then has performed and directed in theatrical venues along Florida’s east coast from Vero Beach to Fort Lauderdale. Acting credits include The Wick Theatre: Camelot (King Arthur), Fiddler on the Roof (Perchik); Plays of Wilton: Torch Song (Arnold Beckoff); Players Circle Theatre: Little Women (Professor Bhaer); Off-Glades Theatre Company: I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change (Man 1); Lake Worth Playhouse: School of Rock (Dewey Finn), Newsies (Davey); Self-Directed: The Pillowman (Katurian), Assassins (The Balladeer/Lee Harvey Oswald). Other directing credits include The Fantasticks; Over the Tavern; Camelot; Grease; Tick, Tick…BOOM!; and his own adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Martinez thanks his loved ones for all of their support!
