In 2006, David J. Valdez made his professional stage debut as Adam in the acclaimed The Serpent. Since, he has performed in Jobsite’s Gorey Stories, served as assistant stage manager of Picasso at the Lapin Agile and The Lieutenant of Inishmore, and directed Just One Night. Other regional credits include The Life of Galileo (Roman Monk, et al.), The Laramie Project: Ten Years Later (Jedidiah/Jonas, et al.), Tunes for Two at Asolo Rep; Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde (Parker/Harris, et al.) at Gypsy Productions. Workshop/Readings: Love! Valor! Compassion! (Ramon), Return to the Mindshaft, Steppin’ Out at SATP; Party Animals (Max) and KeyPin It Real (Cornball) with Kathie Lee Gifford. Upcoming: Las Meninas at Asolo Rep. Alum: Blake School of the Arts, USF, and MTC’s SpringboardNYC. By day, David serves as Audience Development & Social Media Coordinator for Asolo Repertory Theatre in Sarasota, FL.
