Darrin L. Person is an actor, filmmaker, educator, cinema scholar, historian, and founder of Dramatis Personae, LLC. He holds an MFA in Theatre from the University of Missouri–Kansas City and has taught theatre, film, and acting for the New York City Department of Education, The New School, John Jay College, and the Harlem School of the Arts. With his wife, Tracy, he co-founded the acclaimed Brooklyn Summer Shakespeare-ience, making Shakespeare engaging and accessible for young performers. Through his films, lectures, and arts programs, Darrin uses storytelling to inspire creativity, preserve cultural heritage, and strengthen communities.
