Matthew McGee has been a sought after and award-winning character actor for over 25 years. He has appeared in numerous regional venues including American Stage, Asolo Repertory Theatre, Aurora Theatre, Florida Studio Theatre, freeFall Theatre Company, Jobsite Theater, Mountain Theatre Company, The Rev Theatre Company, Stageworks Theatre and as a cast member at Walt Disney World. No stranger to the Jaeb, Matthew’s performance as Mother Superior in the Straz Center for the Performing Arts production of Nunsense A-men earned him a Theatre Tampa Bay Award for Outstanding Leading Actor in a Musical. He also recently received a Theatre Tampa Bay Award for Outstanding Featured Actor in a Musical for Jobsite’s smash hit production of The Rocky Horror Show as (you guessed it!) The Narrator. Favorite roles include: Edna Turnblad in Hairspray, Max Bialystock in The Producers, Dr. Watson in Ken Ludwig’s Baskerville and Dennis Dupree in Rock of Ages. While he identifies as a Slytherin, he is thrilled to be a part of the cast and crew of Puffs! Matthew can be seen on Amazon Prime in Life’s Rewards as Uncle Sterling and is the co-creator of popular cabaret act, The Scott & Patti Show. Love to George and Averi!
