Alex Teicheira (he/him) is an actor, educator and writer originally from the North Bay in California. After spending nearly 10 years acting in New York, he relocated to Sarasota in 2018. Recent Florida credits include: Native Gardens (Florida Studio Theatre), The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime (Florida Studio Theatre), Network (Florida Studio Theatre), Ugly Lies the Bone (Florida Studio Theatre), Red (Treefort Productions), Visiting Mr. Green (Sarasota Jewish Theatre), Better Late (Sarasota Jewish Theatre), Lady Disdain (Asolo Rep, Workshop) and Screen Time (Urbanite Theater, Modern Works Festival). Alex is a teaching artist at Florida Studio Theatre, an Adjunct Professor of Theatre at State College of Florida, Venice, a private acting coach, and has taught for The Van Wezel. Alex is also currently a course-facilitator for Cornell University’s online-education program. MFA: Yale School of Drama.
