Jeff Temple holds a Bachelors of Music Education from Washburn University and a Masters of Music in Percussion Performance from the University of South Florida. He spent two years working as a high school band director in Kansas, and played in a rock band in Minneapolis. Currently, in addition to working with Bay area bands and private students, he is also in demand as a performer. Performance credits include local groups such as the Florida Wind Band and Sarasota’s Helios Jazz Orchestra, as well as performances with national touring acts such as Bernadette Peters, The New York Tenors, and Mannheim Steamroller. He can be heard on several current and future recordings with the renowned McCormick Percussion Group. He lives in Tampa and wishes he could spend more time at the beach.
