Katie Grey

Katie Grey is a Jobsite virgin and is very excited to be a part of the family. She is a Tampa native but a full-bred New Yorker. Katie started her acting career as a toddler performing in front of the family video camera and has progressed into loving and devoting her life to the theater. Currently, Katie is back home in Valrico after going off to college at the University of West Florida for her freshman year studying theater, but now wishes to major in photography and minor in theater here in Tampa. She is best known for acting around the Valrico-Brandon area, such as her role as Winnie Tate in Annie Get Your Gun for Village Players Theatre. Other favorite roles include: The Odd Couple (female version as Olive Madison), Captain Fantastic (Girl Marvel/Agnes Griddle), The Bright Blue Mailbox Suicide Note (Beebee) at Durant High School; OZ (Scarecrow), Jolly Roger and the Pirate Queen (Long John Sliver), The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (Imogene Herdman) with BYT/TBFT; and Dr. Doolittle (Gub-Gub the Pig) with Cobleskill-Richmondville School. Katie also enjoys the technical aspects of the theater – she was the Stage Manager for Seussical at Durant and Asst. SM for The House of Bernarda Alba at UWF. In her spare time, Katie enjoys photography, making/editing videos, listening and singing along to music, dancing in the rain, and of course… long walks on the beach. Biggest thanks go out to her very supportive-dysfunctional family; if it weren’t for them, none of this would be happening. Also, to all of her friends who have either acted with/watched Katie on (and off) stage, supported, laughed, cried, sung or done anything crazy and out of the blue with Katie – she thanks you all for being there in the moment.
