Jobsite Theater is available for private and public bookings. Our shows are hits, our fee structure is very reasonable, and we can tailor a touring package to suit your organization's means and needs.
Jobsite began touring in January of 2002 when we took our world premiere of MAXWELL - A New Rock Musical by Joe Popp to Brooklyn's Galapagos Art Space. After playing in Tampa for 3 sold out weekends, we packed up the entire show and the cast and crew of 13 to the Big Apple for one smashing weekend.
In 2003 we toured the Tampa-Clearwater-St. Pete area with the gripping 9-11 tribute The Guys, which toured to three local schools on top of the regularly scheduled run in TBPAC's Jaeb Theater. These performances were offered free of charge to the schools as a gift to the community, and the funds from the regular run of the show were donated to Tampa Fire Rescue and a FDNY widows and children's fund. In 2006 the show again played the Jaeb Theater as another benefit for the Tampa Firefighters Museum and at Clearwater Central Catholic High School as a benefit for the school's art programs.
In 2005 A Girl's Guide to Chaos, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) and The Complete History of America (abridged) played the Largo Cultural Center and Broward Center for the Performing Arts.
We typically prefer a bare minimum of 16 weeks notice to get a tour package together, preferably much more than that. To give you an example, we are usually setting our production calendar a year in advance. The biggest exception to this may be The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) - we're getting pretty good at getting that one out at a moment's notice.
If you're interested in more information or the possibility of us coming to your venue or school, please . Payment structure usually includes artist fees, royalties and any out of town packages will include transportation and lodging. We are interested in hearing from you! Theatrical mercenaries one and all - we will turn down no reasonable offer!
