Shawn Paonessa

Shawn Paonessa has been working with Jobsite since he played Donkey in their second production, Brownbread. Notable performances include The History of the Devil, Cloud Nine, Playing With Fire: After Frankenstein, all of Jobsite’s (abridged) productions, A Girl's Guide to Chaos, Phyro-Giants!, Woman in Mind and The March of the Kitefliers, which he co-wrote with Neil Gobioff. Additional writing credits include Grimm's Faery Tales, The Curse of Millhaven and Learning Swerve, which earned Best Local Playwright – Reader's Choice, Weekly Planet 1999. Mr. Paonessa has also directed in various capacities for Jobsite, including Delusion of Darkness and Hurlyburly (Associate Director).  In August, he will co-direct Tim Robbins’ Embedded with David M. Jenkins.  When not working directly on the stage, Mr. Paonessa is also Jobsite’s Vice-Chair and Web Manager.  He can be gladly hired for any of the above services, (including Vice-Chairing your company’s board, he supposes) and may be contacted through this website that he is quite proud of.
