Slake Counts
Slake Counts is thrilled to be part of the Jobsite Theater ensemble. Slake hails from North Carolina, where he was involved in community and university theatre productions as well as in several televised plays. Slake arrived in Florida in 1985 and received his Master's degree from USF, Tampa in Applied Medical Anthropology. Slake has been a Program Consultant/Project Manager with the Children's Board of Hillsborough County since February, 1991. Slake has worked with some of the best theatres and the best talent in the Tampa Bay Area. You may have seen him in productions at Stageworks, M.A.D. Theatre, Gorilla Theatre, Ruth Eckerd Hall, Gypsy Productions (recently Corpus Christi and Bent) and many others. You can also see him in All the World and Unearthed, films produced in the Tampa Bay area. In addition to being an accomplished actor, Slake is a multi-media and freelance artist, a published poet, excellent swimmer and an avid camper and hiker.
