David J. Valdez
David J. Valdez is overjoyed to be back on the Jobsite stage, this time as a tumultuous 4-year old, accompanied with this ridiculously talented cast and crew. Last season, David made his professional stage debut as Adam in the acclaimed The Serpent. His mother said he was phenomenal. As a Tampa native, David studied musical theater and classical percussion at Blake School of the Arts, graduating in 2004. He has worked locally with Broadway Theater of Tampa, Carrollwood Players, and other delightful establishments. David is a proud alumnus of The American Theater Wing's Springboard NYC (2006), where he studied with talents including Seth Rudetsky, John Rando and Raul Esparza. His favorite past roles include Prez in The Pajama Game, Bratt in How to Succeed..., Nick Piazza in Fame!: The Musical, and he performed in the world premier of Lotus Blooming in a Sea f Fire. Many, many thanks to the whole Jobsite family for these amazing opportunities, his biological family for their unwavering love and support, and his friends – the best in the world.
