Christen Petitt Hailey

Christen Petitt Hailey has worked as an actor, director, playwright, prop/ special effects designer, stage manager, and costumer in the Tampa Bay area since 1995. She recently wrote, directed, and played the one-eyed Secret Queen of Tampa in Sexy Sexy Murder. Her latest full-length comedy extravaganza, Chapel Perilous, will premier at the Straz Center in July 2012. Her short story "The Curling Iron" (featuring characters from Chapel Perilous) recently won the Creative Loafing Fiction Contest. In her extremely rare spare time, Christen enjoys creating excruciatingly realistic yet totally fake bodily organs, and other arts and crafts. She has previously appeared onstage in productions such as Lysistrata, Maxwell: A New Rock Musical, The Tibetan Book of the Dead, The Serpent, A Dream Play, The Rocky Horror Show, and Picasso at the Lapin Agile; served as Zombie Captain for Night of the Living Dead, and was the Dark Mistress of Blood & Properties for two Jobsite Halloween hits, Mindgame and Quills. She lives with her new husband Shaun & the dog known as Heidi Wenis Psychokiller.
